The festival dates for the Arctic Chamber Music Festival are set to 18th - 21st February 2021. However, due to the special circumstances regarding the pandemic, we need to adjust our plans according to the rules and regulations from the Norwegian Health Institute.

We know that music and culture is important in times of distress and uncertainty. Music is communication, and to communicate is essential when we can feel isolated and have our freedom restricted.

The festival programme is planned, and we are prepared to go through with it, but this year the focus will be on activities for the local audience and collaboration with local partners and businesses.

‍‍This means that we do not recommend travellers from abroad to book a trip for ACMF 2021 - but we welcome you to experience one of the most exotic classical music festivals in the world, in February 2022. There will be a new package-tour offer, like this, for 2022, so please sign up for our newsletter if you would like more information.

‍If you are a Norwegian citizen, you can book the package tour via Svalbard Adventures. The package tour can be cancelled until 7 days before arrival.

As a responsible event organizer, we need to adjust, and we need to take special care so that everyone is safe. We are monitoring the situation from day to day, and this means that we cannot release our full programme until 20th January 2021.

Please follow us on Instagram and FaceBook - to be sure to catch the latest news about the festival.
